Frequently asked questions
How are tokens counted?
Tokens count both input and output across each API call. The thinking dial sets reasoning depth — Low and Medium are included on every self-serve plan; High does deeper reasoning, uses more tokens per call, and is opt-in from the dashboard with a usage cap you set. Switch levels per call any time. Detailed usage is visible in the dashboard.
What happens if I exceed my included tokens?
Overage bills at the tier's per-token rate at the end of the billing period. From the dashboard, you can set overage caps and usage alerts at any threshold. Caps are advisory — we recommend monitoring usage on your end as well.
Can I switch tiers?
Yes. Upgrades and downgrades are managed in the billing portal and take effect at the next billing cycle.
Do you train on customer data?
Teams and Enterprise plans include a contractual no-training guarantee. Self-serve plans follow our standard privacy policy.
